Membership Services
AmCham offers a variety of activities and services to help its membership be better prepared for doing business locally, regionally and internationally.
• AmCham provides its members with a direct link to the business sectors in 23 countries in Latin America and the Caribbean.
• Executive breakfasts, luncheons and seminars on themes directly related to the business and investment environment offer excellent networking opportunities with the bi-national business community as well as facilitated access to government officials and the nation’s top decision makers.
• AmCham members can choose to participate in one or several of the Chamber’s eight active working committees on: Legal Affairs , Environmental Action , Trade & Investment, Economic & Finance, Human Resources, Information &Technology, Corporate Social Responsibility.
• AmCham’s International Arbitration and Conciliation Center, authorized by the Ministry of Justice offers an expeditious and cost saving alternative for handling business disputes. We encourage you to include CICA’s arbitration clause in your business contracts.

Affiliation Requirements
The Application should be filled out completely and must be signed by the applicant.
Company must submit corporate profile and any other pertinent materials that help describe its operations.
Applicants must cancel the US$175.00 initiation fee, plus corresponding amount of annual dues before application can be considered.
Companies already established in Costa Rica are required to provide 3 referrals from AmCham members. If companies are initiating operations in Costa Rica and cannot provide references, please contact María Eugenia Mesén for an appointment.
